MIT SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING
Founded in 1865, the School of Architecture + Planning is one of five schools at MIT. The school comprises five main divisions: The Department of Architecture, The Department of Urban Studies + Planning, The Media Lab, The Center for Real Estate, and The Program in Art, Culture and Technology.
As the Social Media and Communications Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I developed and manged the social media strategy for the prestigious Architecture and Planning graduate school. Partnering with the communications team, I crafted the school’s voice across ten different social media accounts to an audience of over 650,000 fans around the world. I routinely collaborated with students and alumni, showcasing their accomplishments in the arts, architecture, technology, city planning, and design. I also had the honor of covering the college’s major events including lectures, graduation ceremonies, and art exhibitions. Additionally, I wrote, designed, and published the SA+P monthly alumni newsletter, as well as updating the school’s press clips for the MIT media database.
Examples:
Key highlights from my MIT SA+P work:
